Weekday schedule of an office worker in the Isle of Man

Time (local time) Activities
6:30-7:30 Wake up, have breakfast such as an English breakfast, and get ready.
7:30-8:30 Commute by car or bus. There is little traffic congestion, so travel is relatively smooth.
8:30-12:00 Morning work. Time to check emails, attend meetings, and concentrate on individual work.
12:00-13:00 Lunch break. Eat your own lunch in the office or at a pub or cafe.
13:00-17:00 Afternoon work. Deal with customers, team projects, clerical work, etc.
17:00-18:00 Many people go home immediately after work, and it is common to leave work on time.
18:00-19:30 Dinner at home. Often, the family gathers together to eat food made with local ingredients.
19:30-21:00 Relax by taking a walk, enjoying a hobby, reading, etc. Some people hang out with friends at the pub.
