Weekday schedule of a Hungarian office worker

6:30-7:30 After waking up, read the newspaper while having breakfast with traditional hot chocolate and cake.
7:30-8:30 Commute by public transport or car. In Budapest, subway line 1 is crowded.
8:30-12:00 Morning work. Important meetings and decisions are often held during this time.
12:00-13:30 Long lunch break. Enjoy traditional cuisine with colleagues at a nearby ettelem (diner).
13:30-17:00 Afternoon work. Work proceeds in a relatively relaxed atmosphere.
17:00-18:00 After work, have an espresso at a cafe or meet up with friends.
18:00-19:30 After returning home, have Hungarian food for dinner, such as goulash or paprikash.
19:30-22:00 Time to relax by watching TV or going to a hot spring facility.
22:00-23:00 Get ready for bed and rest. It is common to go to bed relatively early in preparation for the next day.

19:30-21:00 Time to concentrate on homework and exam preparation. I study especially hard before important exams.
