Time (local time) Activities
5:30-6:30 Wake up, get dressed and have morning prayer. Have a light breakfast to prepare for work.
6:30-7:30 Drive to work by car. Morning traffic is relatively smooth, but early departures are the norm.
7:30-12:30 Morning work. Government offices and many companies generally work until noon.
12:30-13:30 Lunch and break. Return home or eat out, and tend to relax in the afternoon.
13:30-15:30 Afternoon work or working from home. Public institutions often do not open in the afternoon.
15:30-17:00 Free time after work. Many people go shopping or pray at the mosque.
17:00-19:00 Dinner with family. Rice, grilled food, and spicy home-cooked food are the main dishes.
19:00-21:00 Time to spend time with family, watch TV, or go out and meet friends. Night is a busy time.
21:00-22:30 Bath and get ready for bed, then go to bed early to prepare for the next day.
