Weekday schedule of an office worker in Jordan

Time (local time) Activities
30-7:30 After waking up, I pray and get ready, have a light breakfast, and prepare for work.
30-8:30 Commute by car or bus. This is the time when traffic jams occur, so I leave with plenty of time to spare.
30-12:30 Morning work. I attend meetings, deal with customers, and do clerical work. Work progresses at a relatively slow pace.
30-13:30 Lunch and prayer time. I eat at the office or a nearby restaurant.
30-16:00 Afternoon work. I work on creating materials and negotiating business negotiations, and my work ends around 16:00.
00-17:30 Time to get home. This is the time when you spend more time with your family, such as shopping and picking up your children.
00-19:00 This is when the family has dinner. It is common to chat over bread, vegetables, and meat dishes.
00-21:00 Family time, watching TV, reading, and sometimes hanging out with friends at a cafe.
00-22:30 Bathing and getting ready for bed. This is a cherished time to spend quietly at the end of the day.
