Weekday schedule of a Japanese office worker

6:30-7:30 Wake up, get ready, have breakfast and gather information from TV and the news.
7:30-8:30 Commute on crowded trains. Many people gather at stations during this time, making them crowded.
9:00-12:00 Morning work. This is the time period when people concentrate on checking emails, holding meetings, and preparing documents.
12:00-13:00 Lunch break. Eat lunch at a restaurant or employee cafeteria near the office to refresh themselves.
13:00-17:30 Afternoon work. This is the time period when people deal with customers, attend internal meetings, and complete various tasks.
17:30-18:30 Some people leave work on time, but many people end up working overtime.
19:00-20:00 Eat dinner after returning home. There are many different styles, such as buying bento from a convenience store, eating out, or cooking at home.
20:00-22:00 Watch TV or videos, or do hobbies. This is also the time to do housework and prepare for the next day.
22:00-23:30 Take a bath and relax. Get ready for bed, and many people go to bed around 23:00.

Japanese students' weekday schedule

20:00-22:00 Do homework or study for tests, and many people use their smartphones or watch videos before going to sleep.
22:00-23:30 Take a bath and get ready for bed before going to bed. Some students go to bed early, while others stay up late.
