Weekday schedule of an office worker in Eritrea

6:00-7:00 Wake up, do morning prayers and light stretching, get ready, and have a light breakfast.
7:00-8:00 Walk or take the bus to work. Traffic is relatively calm during the commute.
8:00-12:00 Morning work. Paperwork, meetings, and customer service are concentrated here.
12:00-13:00 Lunch break. Some people go back home, while others have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
13:00-17:00 Afternoon work. Mainly paperwork, contact with outside parties, and team meetings.
17:00-18:30 After leaving work, go shopping at the market or stores and head home.
18:30-20:00 Have dinner with family and chat. Time to enjoy Eritrean cuisine.
20:00-22:00 Watch TV, read, interact with relatives and friends, and pray.
22:00-23:00 Take a bath, prepare for the next day, and quietly get ready for bed.
