Weekday schedule of an office worker in Cameroon

Time (local time) Activities
5:30-6:30 Wake up, do morning prayers, take a shower, and have a light breakfast.
6:30-7:30 Leave early to avoid traffic jams. Take a bus or taxi to work.
8:00-12:00 Morning work hours. Attend meetings, prepare documents, deal with customers, etc.
12:00-13:30 Lunch break. Have lunch with colleagues at a cafeteria or food stall, then take a break.
13:30-17:00 Afternoon work hours. Focus on clerical work, going out for business calls, and answering phone calls.
17:00-18:30 After work, prepare to go home. Depending on road conditions, students may get caught in traffic jams.
19:00-20:00 After returning home, have dinner. This is also the time to spend time with family.
20:00-22:00 Watch TV, interact with neighbors, read light books, and relax.
22:00-23:00 Take a bath and prepare for bed. Many students go to bed early to prepare for the next day.
