Wildlife activity, a major attraction for tourism, also slows down, and the types and numbers of wildlife that can be observed are limited because it is outside of the breeding and migration season. In addition, outings, cruises, trekking, etc. are often canceled due to bad weather, fog, wind and rain, which can greatly disrupt travel plans. In addition, due to the characteristics of cold regions, facilities and tours are limited in operation, and the options for accommodation and restaurants are narrowed, making it difficult to have a comfortable stay.
